Redefine your capture zone with exclusive Miller® ZoneFlow™ Technology – a weld fume capture distance that’s up to five-feet from the arc – compared to traditional systems that require the hood to be placed within 12-18 inches from the arc for effective fume capture.
ZoneFlow™ is a patented airflow technology that creates an extraction zone where the air on the inside of the zone has lower pressure than the air on the outside. The air pressure difference causes weld fume to get funneled to the center of the extraction arm, maximizing the weld fume capture distance.
With ZoneFlow™ Technology, the weld fume capture zone is extended up to 3X larger than traditional systems – which results in a significant reduction in arm interactions – increasing arc-on time, boosting productivity and efficiency. A five-foot capture zone allows welders to focus on welding instead of constantly adjusting the arm over their weld piece to maintain an effective capture zone.
