Learn how to comply with the requirements of ASME Section IX, Welding, Brazing, and Fusing Qualifications during the How to Use ASME Section IX Conference
Presented by Walter J. Sperko, P.E., participants will gain a working knowledge of ASME Section IX and address its requirements in a simple, straightforward manner. There will also be an emphasis on writing welding procedures to contribute positively to the manufacturing process and on qualifying procedures in a cost-effective manner. Upon registration, attendees will receive a hard copy of the current edition of ASME’s Section IX Welding, Brazing, and Fusing Qualifications and earn 20 PDHs upon completion.
During the conference, time will be allocated for Walter to address participants’ problems and concerns. Walter’s history includes extensive experience in piping and pressure vessel fabrication, installation, maintenance, and repair. He is a past-Chairman of the ASME Welding, Brazing, and Fusing Standards Committee IX and several subgroups. Walter is also a registered professional engineer in several states, holds six US patents, and is an ASME Fellow and AWS Counselor.
